Confidence

We understand it’s easy to doubt yourself. We’re here to give you tools to talk to yourself positively, decrease your comparison thoughts, and believe in your abilities.

Focus

We help performers narrow their focus to a helpful place. Whether that is learning to control the controllables or stay in the present moment, we help performers navigate what type of focus helps them succeed.

03.

Pressure

Performance can naturally cause nerves, anxiety, and fear. The tools we teach help navigate these emotions so they do not affect performance in a negative way.

Your success stories...

Power of process

I still remember the first thing this athlete ever said to me. It was something along the lines of, “I am on the brink of being really good, but there’s something holding me back and it’s not physical.” As we started our work together, she realized she didn’t believe in herself as much as she thought she did. She would be so consistent, tournament after tournament, right up until she realized she was about to make top cut, beat someone she thought was better than her, or found out she was leading the pack in points. It frustrated her beyond belief because she knew what she was capable of, it just didn’t come out.

Fast forward through about 6 months of her putting in the work on her performance mentally, scoring so well at tournaments, she has a shot at olympic trials. Stood alongside her are the greatest of the greats. The people she’s looked up to and held in a high regard all year, all career. Suddenly, she’s among them and it feels… Wrong. Wrong?? How could that be? She put in the work – the mental stuff, the practice, the grinding, and it still felt wrong?

Yes. The grinding, the mental, all of it it it… didn’t matter. Unless she had fun. It was something she unlocked in mental training sessions. See, this particular athlete is at their best when they’re having fun, enjoying the process of the game. And so she channeled the power of focusing on the process, removing all pressure about the weight of the competition, the points, the stats, the glory… And made the team.

Coming off a less-serious injury after a very serious injury left this athlete in particular, pretty shaken. It can be a frustrating process when your body isn’t doing what it used to do.

The main thing she was hoping to accomplish was making money again, to prove to herself and others she deserved being where she wanted to be. She had come off of some really uncharacteristic performances where she didn’t even place at all, and that’s when she decided to reach out to us.

1 session was all it took. She did one session and took a lot of things away from it. She realized she was letting people’s opinions about how good she was impact her. It almost turned into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Instead, she decided to only hear her thoughts in her own head, because they did tell her she was good enough, and she got 4th place at a tournament; taking home the money she wanted. Her goals now are about improving her consistency, and becoming one of the all-time greats.

I will note, it isn’t normal to only need 1 session, she had put in the work for years prior on her mental health overall, and that’s what led her to implement things so easily.
