Our Team

Ashley Raulli, CMPC

Founder - Lead Consultant
Works with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes and coaches

Ashley started her sport psychology career at University Iowa majoring in Exercise Science and Psychology. She knew sport psychology was her path and her passion from the moment she took her first Intro to Sport Psychology class. She really related to the material because it was information she wish she knew when she was playing sports in high school. She wish she knew how to work on her mental game because it was what held her back from reaching her fullest potential. From there she pursued her master's degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Minnesota State University in Mankato so she could help athletes like her not let the mental game hold them back.

What she loved about her master's program is that she started working with athletes right away. She was able to complete all 400 CMPC hours and then some within her two years of her master's program. Since graduation she has continued working with a variety of athletes, coaches, and leaders in many different sports including: hockey, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, lacrosse, cross-country, bowling, and e-sport. Not only does she have experience working with multiple sports, but she also has experience working with multiple levels including collegiate, high-school, club, and professional.

Ashley wanted to start Mastery because of her passion for the field of sport psychology. Not only does she love doing the work, but she loves mentoring and helping other consultants get their certification hours to start doing the work too. In the future, she hopes to employ multiple full-time consultants to provide more jobs. Our goal is to have multiple teams throughout the country working with various sports and working together to collaborate and provide the best quality care to our clients. We want diverse opinions, diverse clients, and diverse experience. We are excited to work with any and all sports who are looking to improve their mental game and organizations who want to provide this resource for their performers.

Zachary Smith

Founder - CEO
Works with business owners and decision makers

Zach is a self-taught entrepreneur and business man who has always struggled with defining himself. His whole life he's been an enigma capable of picking up new skills quickly, but never fitting into a singular box. He's embraced his eclecticism and has a zest for bettering himself and others by helping people reframe their mindset to affect change for themselves in their own lives. Being a former e-sport athlete himself, he's passionate about bringing sport psychology tools to e-sports. He is hoping to finish his Master's degree someday so he has the option to work with groups he's passionate about.

He has been interested in psychology his whole life. From a very young age, he observed behaviors of those around him and wanted to learn more about why people do the things they do. He tabled his passion for psychology to pursue a career in computer science. A very capable programmer, Zach eventually started working in the industry. He wanted his personality coupled with his programming skills to better every organization he worked for. After 4 years, Zach realized he was not cut out for the traditional 9-5, and needed to scratch his entrepreneurial itch. He has since started 3 companies, and works to grow all of them every single day.

Zach wanted to start Mastery to explore how he can help people better themselves and others. He wants to bring the concepts and advantages of sport psychology to everyone and anyone willing to learn about it. His goal is to work hard for the people he employs at Mastery, and provide them with all the tools they need to be strong consultants. He believes in the growth and empowerment of his people to facilitate a place where they can express themselves and build on their strengths.
