At the core of peak performance, I believe, is trust and confidence in preparation. When obstacles occur, when anxiety is too high or too low, being able to dive into that memory bank of motivation and remember the hours of practice, training, film, and why you got started in the first place (for the fun and love of the game), can have an incredible impact on how we react next. As a Mental Performance Consultant, I help athletes build resilience, prevent burnout, and navigate the ups and downs of sport so they can flip the switch quickly and get back to performing at a high-level.
My athletic career began at Steelton-Highspire High School, where I spent four years on varsity baseball, and three years on a varsity team that where I contributed to a career record of 37-6, and back-to-back state championships. I went on to accept an offer to Bucknell University where I became a four-year letter winner playing various defensive positions (linebacker, safety, and stand-up defensive end). While at Bucknell University, I was part of a defense that finished top of the conference every year, and in my senior campaign landed atop multiple individual conference statistics (sacks, fumble recoveries, forced fumbles, etc.). Academically, I finished with a B.A. in Psychology, and after a year of career exploration, went on to earn my M.A. in Psychological Studies with a concentration in Sport & Exercise Psychology.
Today, I coach middle-school through collegiate athletes across sports—from baseball and football to volleyball, gymnastics, and swimming—plus I draw on my career-services experience in higher education to help students develop transferable skills. I also stay active in competitive and coaching arenas—bowling leagues, CrossFit, flag football, small-group fitness classes, and one-on-one strength training—so I understand firsthand the physical and mental demands my clients face.
I believe true mental preparation starts with keeping things loose: when I first discovered how fun pre-game rituals could unlock my own “in the zone” mindset, it changed everything. My practice focuses on practical, personalized strategies for burnout recovery, injury rehabilitation, and smooth sport transitions—all to equip athletes with the mental tools they need to compete with purpose, bounce back stronger, and—above all—find fulfillment and fun in every step of their journey.
